Are you tired of buying new outdoor cushions or of them taking a long time for the cushions to dry then you need to see this chair makeover using 1/4" plywood and some pretty vibrant paint colors. There is a video that you can watch to show you how it is done and a tutorial too with some super great tips. I love this idea how about you. I think I will try some teal and purple stripes or use different shapes or designs.

I recovered the seats of six dining room chairs with lovely tapestry fabric, but I also sewed some self fabric cord around the edges for added punch! They came out great and the tapestry fabric really wears so much better than the flimsy fabric originally used. I love the colors this project shows for the wood and the variety of color is so much fun, you can assign colors to kids for fun! I found that using a multi-colored or fabric with a design on it helps to hide the dirt, but you can cover the fabric with vinyl or scotch guard if needed.
