This is exactly what I need right above my work space in our shared work room. Just looking at the photo I can think of all sorts of things that I could hang off the rails and that will make things so much easier and more pleasant for me. Can not wait to get started!

Great idea and looks real sharp! I imagine you could do a similar version using custom colored PVC pipe or curtain rods if you didn't want to,use this type,of pipe. Add some flat baskets or metal, file, holders from office supply to hold bulkier items out of the way. You could further embellish the baskets with flowers or ric rac, and add some to the finial ends if you want to,frill it up for a girl's room .... Great and practical, idea which will save room while looking super!

I really like this and it is going to work so well in my studio. There are so many things that I want nearby me (scissors, pins, needles, adhesive, brushes, pens and pencils, etc etc) but at the same time I dont want them ON my work table where they just keep getting in my way or become buried under whatever it is Im busy with. Thank you for this simple and easy to do idea!
