I like the way the desk was repainted and spruced up, but was not so impressed with the "return" added on after. I get that it is a personal thing and met her needs, but I am just not crazy about the look. I would probably have distressed the desk too, but that truly is a style thing. The idea of reusing an older piece of furniture is a good, solid thing and I applaud her on that, everything else is just personal preference and style. That is the beauty of using what you have to update it to fit your current needs. Good job on this one!
