I like this idea but is it sturdy? I will have to try it. I am one of those people who save the toilet paper cardboard rolls. I recycle them with ideas from these very articles. I have the necessary items so there is no reason not to do it. I am always looking for a pen or pencil. This would solve that problem. Thank you.

Oh my goodness! My god-daughter is going to love doing this project! I'm always looking for fun crafts to do with her when I have her over and I think this is just the ticket. I really like that it uses things I already have hanging around the house. It definitely won't cost anything to make this with her. I think that it is really fun that she can customize it however she wants for her room. I'm putting this tutorial on my pin board right now!

I am always looking for projects to do with my niece and nephew, there is about a four year gap between them but I love the two of them working together but it's difficult sometimes to find things that are age appropriate for the two of them but this project seems perfect for us all to do together which will be great!

This is such a fun way to store pens and pencils. My pencil holders on my desk have gotten so dirty. I need to switch them out for these adorable ones!
