If you've been lemming for a Crate and Barrel candle holder, but the steep price puts you off, then this knockoff DIY project will give you a pleasant surprise. This Rustic DIY Tea Light Candle Holder is the perfect new home for your tea light candles. Although it's a simple wood project, this homemade candle holder definitely makes a big statement. Using untreated scrap wood will make this DIY project even more affordable. You can use it as a mantel decoration or as a unique centerpiece for your dining room table. Add some decorations to the holder, such as golden leaves, or leave it as a simple piece.

Wow! This will look good if placed beside the tub. Lighting up your scented candles and drinking wine. Very relaxing.

This project has some major classy vibes about it. I like the rustic look of the wood and I would love to paint and distress it later. It would also help me keep track of all the tea lights that I keep losing.

Very classy and nice project! I could see making the holes to,fit either the tea light size or deeper for holding votive glasses that could be easily removed for, cleaning. This would,be cute by adding some painted pine comes, acorns or gilded leaves or even some braiding as trim, of course keeping away from where the flames would be. A very pretty idea!

I really like this votive holder. I was looking for some pretty but rustic wedding decor and I think that this will fit the bill. My husband to be is pretty handy with tools, so I think that this is something that he will be able to help me with. I think that I will use those fake battery operated votives for added safety. These would look really cute on my mantel afterward. I think that they would also make great housewarming gifts!

That's so simple, but it's so clever and cool, too! It looks like it really sets a more inviting and comforting atmosphere, too.

This is so pretty! It would be a great housewarming gift or centerpiece idea!
