From the blogger: "Make yourself an adorable pincushion with this quick pumpkin pincushion tutorial! This pumpkin stack would also make a great home decor for fall. This would look adorable on a table top or mantel for the fall season and could also make a great gift. Cute and easy, these pumpkins are quick to sew and a great beginners project! Also a good scrap buster! They look fabulous individually too but I think they’re pretty breathtaking when stacked up in a little tower."

What a clever idea! I jade made these as a single pumpkin in fall fabrics with twine for the sections, but never thought of making several sizes for a tree shape! This would be cute in green and red for Christmas or in pastels for spring just as pretty decor accents, in addition to being a pin cushion! Could also, serve double duty as a note center... Either pin notes or use post-it type notes for a message center! would be a cute stuffed toy as well, using Velcro attached cloth or felt ornaments kids could pull off and replace for fun... Bells, stars, birds, etc. for Christmas, eggs and bunnies for Easter, etc. or make a set of stick ons for any need, numbers for birthdays, ties for Father's Day, flowers for Mother's Day! Fun!
