Making recycled paper is a fun project for kids and adults alike. We all get a lot of junk mail or have used paper that we don't want. Instead of putting it in the recycling bin, you can turn your old paper into "new" beautiful handmade paper. This is one of the best DIY crafts you can do with your family and each piece of paper is unique. When you are done, you get the most beautiful textured paper to use for various projects, such as one-of-a-kind greeting cards.

Another awesome school holiday project for you to do with the kids, or grand kids. I remember my children did this at school and they had a ball. It might be a good idea to scour the Thrift Shops to find a cheap, used Blender rather than using your good one. Just be sure to read through the tutorial so you know what kinds of scrap paper to use to avoid ending up with strong, unattractive colours.

I love this idea. Such a wonderful way to go green!
