This looks like such a fun idea! I will have to find some small cardboard boxes and give this a try! Of course, this also means I will have to start burning candles so they are not completely unused! I have a tendency to buy candles and not burn them. Thank you for such a neat idea!

I appreciate that these candles can be made from recycled candles and from scratch. The directions are easy enough and I think I have the skill set to get this done. I am glad my old candles are not in a glass container. The method described to get the candle out sounds a little dangerous to me.

My brother and his family love to have candles burning. I had though about giving them some homemade candles for the holiday and this is one option I may use. Love to give unique gifts.

My mam has more bits if candles everywhere than I like to think about, she just can't let go of them for whatever reason! This would be the perfect idea for her. I am going to have to print this off for her so she can do it and beg her not to buy anymore until all her bits are used up doing this)

I have never made ice candles before, i was thinking of recycling some old candles because i wanted to scent them and add some new colour and this craft comes close to what i had in mind. This simple craft will cost you nothing...maybe some wicks. how do you tell the candle is ready to pour?

Boy does this bring back memories! One year we made these ice candles for our teacher gifts for Christmas. It was the first time we made candles. My mom forgot that the ice would actually melt, and ruined the carpets and the drapes in the dining room. We, however, thought it was the best thing ever!

I hate to waste that bit of wax that won't burn at the bottom, so I love this tutorial!

This project is SO cool! I am always trying to make my favorite candles last as long as possible. This is an awesome way to recycle old candles I love!
