Save money with this How to Make Mod Podge tutorial. Mod Podge can be used for so many craft projects. However, what is Mod Podge? If you craft, you have probably needed it at some point. It is a decoupage medium, which means that it is an all-purpose glue, sealer, and finish that can be used on almost any surface. You will find a lot of Mod Podge crafts around, but it can be expensive. It is cheap and easy and provides the same coverage as the brand-name product.

I have so much crafts and projects that uses mod podge. Finally, I found a DIY of it. Less hassle to go the store ans of course this would be much cheaper.

This is perfect for what I want to use it for. I make bowls out of scrap yarn and Mod Podge tends to get expensive. I know it is just diluted glue but it is good to have a recipe for it. Thank you for the video. It makes it easy to refer to.

I agree with the commenter below. This is a really solid tutorial for basic crafting with the kids. Sometimes for more advanced projects, you just have to buy the brand name product. My problem with the diluted glue method, is sometimes the glue yellows. Sometimes there are also consistency issues. It's definitely fun and cheap to try it out though.

This is diluted glue ... great for some applications but not always an adequate substitute for Mod Podge. Sometimes there is no way to get the desired results without shelling out for the real thing.

Really. I am glad you told me that I was waiting to run out of my mod podge to try this. Why is it different from the regular mod podge? Does it not cover right? I do not want to ruin my projects but mod podge is so expensive. I see they used latex glue is that different then regular glue.
