Materials List
- 2 pint sized mason jars (I used ones with smooth sides)
- 2 mason jar pump dispensers
- Printable tag (download by clicking here)
- Fabric or tissue paper
- Twine
- Miniature hot dogs (optional)
- Adhesive
- Hot dogs and condiments
Instructions
-
Start by making the condiment dispensers. Just attach the pump dispensers to your mason jars. Then add the printable tags to the front with some adhesive. I recommend printing the tags onto card stock for durability. Also cut out your gift tag and add a hole to the top.
-
Tie the tag onto the front of your basket with twine. Add a miniature hot dog to the front with hot glue if desired.
-
Line the basket with a fun fabric or even tissue paper. Add in the hot dogs, condiments, and your mason jar dispensers.

This hot dog lover gift basket idea is ready to give to anyone on your gift giving list. Have someone that needs to have a dog gone good time? This basket is the perfect gift!

What an adorable idea for a summertime picnic gift. Being a vegetarian I would make this unique to veggie dogs but we use the same condiments so that would still work for my vegetarian friends. The printable tags are adorable, too, and could still be used for vegetarian hot dogs as well. I think these would be cute for everyday use in the summer, too. Why not make your dinner time table fun! I would also add a cute jar for the relish-just without the pump. Such a cute idea!

This is a clever and creative idea and would be great for a Father's Day gift, or as a fund raiser basket prize, or even as a gift for a teacher at year's end, anticipating some ba cookouts! The condiment dispenser idea is great and solves a lot of frustation and mess! The idea could be used for a baby basket, substituting baby lotion and oils for the condiments, and adding a bib or receiving blanket instead! Lots of great possibilities with this clever idea!
