This heart shaped basket is very cute. I think they would be perfect for Christmas hampers. They can be kind of expensive to buy in the shops so it would be great to be able make my own, could do them in green and red for the festive theme of Christmas.

I have tried before to weave with yarn, and I always found it too complicated or projects needing too many expensive materials or expertise. This project looks like so much fun, though, and seems easy enough. And I really like the fact that i can start with almost any templated shape for the basket itself and just make sure I have a sturdy enough material for the frame!

This is such a cute craft! I regularly do art projects with my students and am always looking for something more "grown up" or advanced for my intermediate kids. I'm thinking that this project would fit the bill for a Valentine's Day craft for that age group. I like how affordable and easy it is. I think that the boys would like it if I offered them more "masculine" colours like blue and black. I know that my nephew said he would like to try it using camo colours like green and brown. This is such a cute little basket. It would be fun to fill it with Valentine treats like chocolate.
