These types of projects are simply some of my favorites, just because of the usefulness and portability factor. I love doing these projects with lots of things, and the roll and tie part is so useful, too! I've made crayon rolls, art supplies rolls, toiletries rolls, and even done this once or twice for storing my crochet hooks and sewing needles! I especially like the things I can make small and portable using this technique, such as for pencils or traveling with sewing needles.

What an interesting idea! This seems like a fabulous travel hack, especially if you are getting ready for a last-minute trip.
