From the blogger: "Monogram etched mason jar glasses are easier to make yourself than you might think. Dont be afraid of using etching cream! These are great to make with your troop. The etching cream is a chemical and should be handled by an adult. But the monogram itself or shape could be chosen by the scout and added to the jar."

I've always been wanting to try adding etching techniques into my list of crafting skills, but have never known where to get started. This project looks like a fun way to easily add monograms to my projects, can't wait to try this! But does anyone know of any alternatives to using the etching cream to make the monograms? Or different mediums to use with the mason jars to create the same kind of effect, maybe? And plus, I don't really want to do any cutting to the mason jars themselves.
