What a great idea to use up fabric scraps. You can add these flowers to so many things for decoration. I have even added little touches such as this to shower curtain hooks. Adds a nice detail. Easy to make. And different buttons would add something as well. Thank you for the idea.

Fabric Yo Yo Flowers have an endless possibility of uses. They can be used as embellishment or sewn together to form blankets, pillows, or clothing. Not to mention the color and pattern combinations one can use. I think yo-yo flowers are fun.

Easy Peasy and a great way to use up scrap fabric. This simple yo-yo flower project has sparked inspiration. Would this not the be the cutest idea to assemble a small wall hanging or throw pillow? I recently made a few throw pillows for the guest room and had scrapes left over. I think I will embellish the pillows and if enough make at least one side all yo-yo flowers.

These are so fun! I have made tons of these, some I have attached a barrette to the back, I made flowers using two yo-yos, one smaller than the other, with a little pearl, gem or button in the center and sewing a pin clasp on the back.... My friend wears hers on her jacket at work. Have covered a wine bottle carrier, and placed on decorative pillows! These little flowers are great! I have even seen vintage quilts made with yo-yos as they needed to be frugal and the double thickness actually made the quilt a bit more insulated as well as practical and pretty!
