I have a tween niece that is going to have a field day with this project the next time I have her over! I love how affordable this is to create, yet you can really customize it to your personal tastes. I'd love to try making patterns, like stripes or chevrons, all over it. It also might be fun to cut pictures out of magazines and old-school Modge Podge/collage it. This is a fun and useful project for kids of any age!

Washi tape, Duck tape, ribbon or fabric with Mod Podge, also decoupage with colorful papers, I can think of lots of ways to cover these and make them colorful. Easy to make, inexpensive supplies, and useful to have, what a great idea! It would be good to have one for the bathroom so there would be someplace to put the phone and keep it from getting wet.
