"If you're starting to crave spring and are still a long way off, a little more greenery indoors can’t hurt in the meantime; a Blue Jean Planter is the perfect indoor solution! This adorable planter literally stands and is easy to make by following my step-by-step tutorial. All it takes is a few items from your local thrift and big box store. You can even upcycle things you already own if you have them on hand!"

You know what? This might make a rad and spooky Halloween decor idea, too!

I think it would be an awesome decor idea for Halloween!

OMG this is the cutest thing ever! I love the idea of recycling blue jeans this way. This is so unique and no one else will have this great Blue Jean Planter stand. I so have to make this one. There is a great video showing just how easy it is to turn blue jean pants into a great looking planter. So easy and not many tools need.. I would like to know how to make them waterproof? I would like to have a few of these on my front porch to hold my summer plants. Any ideas? Please share, I'll be coming back to see. Thank you so much for sharing this free craft idea.

Thank you Cheryl! I've never done one for outdoors, but I know that other have waterproofed it with a sealant spray and they reapply each year. Dipping them in concrete might work also, but then you lose the look of the blue jeans. Good luck! If you do it and it work, let me know )
