Looking for a sweet homemade Christmas gift idea for a coffee lover? Check out this Adorable Coffee Cozy Homemade Christmas Gift for a creative idea. Coffee cup sleeves are handy to have to protect your hands from a burning hot cup. This easy sewing project is great for a last-minute stocking stuffer, since it only takes five steps to complete. Because it only requires a handful of materials, it’s a great way to use up scrap fabric, too. Your loved ones will be reminded of your thoughtfulness every time they take a sip of coffee. Throw in a coffee gift card into the sleeve or cup, and you’ve got a dream gift for any coffee drinker.

I actually really don't like those cardboard sleeves you have to use on your coffee cup anytime I buy a hot coffee at a gas station, so I've always loved cool projects like this one that can be made quickly using scrap material and a button, or even sewing velcro. I usually have a bunch of these made and I'll keep at least one in my purse so I can keep my coffee cup from burning my hand anytime I buy coffee while I'm on the road. I am always a fan of the quick and easy!

I remember when I worked in the city and, each morning, I would join the throng of office workers bustling along the busy streets with a take out cup of coffee in hand. If you take your coffee black, like I do, those cups can get pretty hot and Id often have to use a paper napkin as insulation against burned fingers. Now why didnt I think of making a coffee cup cosy? Maybe Ill gift a few to others I know who enjoy their morning coffee on the way to work?
