At first, i Thought that i would end up smelling like vodka but turns out vodka is odorless. It absorbs the fragrances of whatever you add into it and rose, and lavender is such a fresh spring kind of smell that is mild and will never leave you with a headache.

I had a book years ago where you use vodka in making your own scents and lost it with all my moving. Now I feel as if I found it again! So excited. This is such a natural way to add scents and it does last. I use a lot of essential oils so this is perfect. It is so easy to make as well. The colognes you buy in the store really don't last. Thank you again for the recipe!

The advantage of making your own cologne is you can decide how strong or weak you want it to be. If you like to use essential oils you can make all kinds of variations. I also really like the fact you can use things like flowers and fruits. I especially love citrusy fragrances. Going to try this one!

This is neat! The lavender rose one seems like it would smell really good.
