I am so glad I found this recipe! Many years ago I purchased solid perfume in a woodsy scent and absolutely loved it! It is hard to find today, but now I know I can make my own. I also love the citrusy scents and eucalyptus scent, so I am going to try them, too.

I really like the idea below to use this as a travel perfume. The citrus blend would be good for a tropical vacation, but you could also use a peppermint oil combination for a wintry mix.

This would be a good source of a way to carry your perfume on vacation with you so it does not spill. I forgot that you can get solid perfume. I have not looked for it in years. I like that you can make it to what essentials oil you like but I do think your citrus recipe seems like it will smell amazing so that will be one on my list. This tutorial is so simple to follow that I think I can see many fragrances being made. Has anyone tried this citrus one yet?

I had no idea you could make a solid perfume at home! I'm super picky about my perfume too, so this is such a neat way to get exactly the scent you want!
