You never know what treasures you can make from someone’s “trash”. Grab an old button-down shirt from your husband or brother and make this chic DIY dress. This dress is amazing! When I first saw it I thought she cut off the arms and used them as a chicken belt. I love the simple sewing technique and the step by step tutorial. I am definitely raiding my brother's closet for a shirt.

Love this idea! Shirt dresses are always trendy, in my opinion. You could also use a larger shirt for a more flowy look and cinch in the waist.

What a fun project! I could see this as a beach coverup dress if you made it from an absorbent shirt fabric such as flannel. An alternative from making the belt from sleeves is to use that fabric as a band to add some length at themlower hem of your dress. you could still use the sleeve at a less wide overall width or use other coordonating fabric. very nice ideaa!
