My mam is always going on and buying products to try thicken her thin hair. When she was younger she had extremely thick hair but getting older has thinned it out so hopefully this can be something else that she can try out, although it does sound good enough to eat)

There are some really great ideas on this page of Natural Ways to Thicken Hair. I love the clove water infusion idea the best. Essential Clove oil mixed with your hair conditioner will do the same and works well. I'm not a big fan of the avocado moisturizers, I've tried it and my scalp ending up so moist, I had the worse itchy head for a few days. Sorry but it didn't help me. I have hair down to my butt and it is still thick but I have been using the clove oil for as long as I can remember. Thank you so much for sharing this free DIY beauty idea.

This is what I like with home remedies. Ingredients are natural and non toxic. Avocado moisturizes the scalp and promotes healthy strong hair. I bet this will probably work.

My hair could really use this. I love all the different options, too.

I had a lot of hair but it had no body and then all of a sudden it started falling out. Of course, there are a couple of medical reasons which are being taken care of and the falling out has slowed, but it needs to slow down a lot more! I am going to try the clove tea and see how that works. I usually rub in coconut oil the night before I wash my hair and sometimes use aloe Vera gel also. I would not be able to use the first solution as I am allergic to avocados!

I especially like that the clove tea doesn't have to be rinsed out. I've heard before that eggs are a great natural alternative to store-bought protein treatments. Avocado is popular in face masks so I think it will be just as great for hair conditioning. It contains lots of Vitamin E.

This is all very interesting. I think I might try it. You see often enough that store bought products contain these things so there must be some truth to it. I kind of like the idea of doing something natural like this. Can we use any kind of essential oil or does it have to be Rosemary?

I really want thick hair(....but I don't put in the work so I buy some of those pills that should get you results in two weeks. I love the natural idea...I've used avocado before for a hair mask but I thought it was too messy

I have tried those and while they helped some they were not worth the money I paid for them. It is cheaper to buy a thing of coconut oil from the grocery store and rub it in the night before you wash your hair. It keeps it from getting dry and has reduced my split ends quite a bit.

This is really a great tutorial for anyone with thinning hair. I love that both the mask and the rinse are made from all natural ingredients and you can control what you are using. Avocados ,coconut oil and egg are all natural as is cloves and rosemary oil. I am going to make some for my sons who have thinning hair. So fast and easy and very few ingredients. I have been looking for something like this. Thanks. Anyone make any yet? Do you need to keep it in fridge?
