When we're dealing with moisturizing, finding the right body lotion can be tricky. Drugstore and other store-bought lotion brands often contain chemicals that are damaging to our skin. Although it may be hydrating our body, it can also be damaging in other aspects. So, it's a lot better to create our own body lotions, like this Magical Unicorn DIY Body Lotion! Made out of coconut oil (or shea butter) and essential oils, this body lotion is super hydrating for your skin. You don't have to deal with being ignorant towards your lotion's ingredients. You'll know exactly what is in this lotion, and you'll enjoy wearing it every day!

I had so much learning how to make the unicorn horn. Making your own lotion is great if you've never found something that suits your skin. In this project you can do just that, I'm not sure if the mica powder is natural but it makes such wonderful colours.

There is nothing like making your own body lotion so you know what ingredients you put in it and know they are natural and I really love the idea of using essential oils in the lotion. You can choose one for your skin or maybe for calming(lavender) or maybe some for a health issue and the added touch or the beautiful colors and horn this would be a great idea to give to anyone. Very good tutorial and a video too. Thanks.
