"How to make rose petal salve. Salves are easier to make than lotions because there's no water. This means that they don't need a preservative, and you don't need to worry about a water phase and an oil phase. This uses rose infused oil and rose essential oil or one of the alternatives mentioned in the post. A rose salve is great for dry skin, and it smells wonderful. Roses have antioxidants and vitamins to promote skin health."
