DID YOU KNOW?

Sea salt has numerous health benefits. It's good for skin care, can improve dental health, and, for some, it can provide relief from rheumatoid arthritis, muscle cramps, psoriasis, acne, and more! But did you know that it can also be good for your hair? Sea salt, which is also called bay salt or solar salt, is produced from the evaporation of sea water. The production of sea salt can be dated back to prehistoric times. Modern sea salt production is found in the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, and the North Sea.

One of the lesser known benefits of sea salt is that it stimulates healthy hair growth. Massaging the scalp with the sea salt can aid in improved circulation of blood and strengthen hair follicles. Sea salt can also be used as an anti-dandruff tool; it helps loosen and remove existing flakes while stimulating circulation for a healthy scalp. However, the most popular use of sea salt spray for hair is to create the trendy look of beachy waves. Now with this DIY sea salt spray tutorial, you can make your own homemade beauty product and experience all of the benefits of sea salt for your hair at a budget-friendly price.

I have always wanted to learn how to do this, so I can't wait to start this project. It looks pretty easy to do, too!

I've never used sea salt spray on my hair, but I would definitely be willing to give it a try. My hair is super frizzy, so it would be great if it could tame some of that frizz.

My goodness - how simple is that? I wear my hair short but it is very straight and will sit flat without some kind of product to give it a bit of body. I hate the feeling and the look, of heaps of hair gel, or wax - but I have tried the commercial salt sprays and they worked well. But if I can make up my own at home so much cheaper - especially considering the listed benefits on sea salt for my hair and scalp - Id call this a winner

I love the look of soft, beachy hair, so I can't wait to try this!

My hair is super long compared to last summer, so rocking the beachy look is going to be FABULOUS. Making my own spray will be so much cheaper than constantly buying bottles at the store.

I really want to try to make this DIY sea salt spray. Seems like a great money saver!

I have been looking for more natural beauty products to use on my hair recently. This DIY Sea Salt Spray sounds awesome! I can't wait to try it!
