DIY Flat Iron Cover
From the blogger: "When I was done with my flat iron, I had nowhere to store it. I was always afraid that my kids would accidentally touch it, but I couldn't put it away. I made this easy flat iron cover using just a straight stitch. In about 10 minutes and with $1, I had a new flat iron cover. Now I can slip my iron in the cover, wrap the cord around it, and store it right away."

This is a GREAT idea for anyone who uses hot hair tools! I especially like this idea for when I travel and need to pack my straightener shortly after using it. I never thought of using a pot holder like this, but when you think about it, it's pretty obvious!

Such an easy idea using a pot holder! How clever is that? Take this a step,further and attach it to a larger back with several pockets to,store other beauty items all in one spot. Or how about making several for little stocking stuffer gifts for the gals, or as a party favor that is practical as well as memorable. Add the recipients' initials for some sweet personalization. Great idea, thanks!
