This pouch is so cute. My old pouch got old, got some lipstick stains and at some point ink stains. This tutorial is great since now I can make two of these for my makeup and my stationary and more to give as gifts.

Easy zipper pouches are always so awesome to make, and the possibilities are always way too much fun! I like to add buttons, ribbon zipper pulls, appliques, and fun little sewing notions to mine. And for those times when I don't have a piece of cute little llama fabric of my own, a cute little applique hand-sewn into the outside desired area before assembling the pouch will be fun and cute, too!

I love this! I always need more or new makeup bags and it would be a lot cheaper to just make one!

I love to make zippered pouches and I especially love the fabrics used in this tutorial. It does seem like organic fabrics are the newest and cutest designs out there! Can anyone suggest online companies where these type of fabrics can be purchased. The only place I can think of other than the ones linked to in the tutuorial is Spoonflower.

I am always looking for the right size bag to put my makeup in when traveling. This DIY pouch is the perfect size for weekend trips.
