If your bathroom is looking a little drab, then add some luxury with this Lucite DIY Towel Bar. Although it looks expensive, this DIY bathroom decor project is very affordable. It takes just minutes to make, but the end result makes it seem like you spent days on it!

The combination of gold accents with the Lucite bar is simple but elegant. Plus, the neutral colors won’t clash with the rest of your bathroom decorations. This homemade towel bar will make any towel that you hang on it look absolutely fabulous.

I need some towel baars for my bathroom and I need some small ones as my door has very little space and I cannot find what I want. I am loving this Lucite towel bars and really like that you use acrylic to cut to your desired size instead of the plastic ones you get. I would have never thought to use ceiling brackets for drapery rods to hold the towel bar in. I have got to make this and you can make your own towels to hang on it.

I have clear acrylic candle sticks and candle globes that really shine like crystal and catch the light in such a pretty way, and I could see where these towel rods, would, look so glam in any bathroom. You could take this look a step, further and make shelves from the same materials,to,tie your look together and by making it yourself you can fabricate the exact size you need to,suit your spaces, wonderful project, thanks for, sharing!

Is this not just FABULOUS? I am absolutely CRAZY about clear acrylics and acrylic rods are my 100% favorite! And the finished towel rail is gorgeous and so professional looking and I just love that the rod protrudes beyond the brackets. A very nice touch. Our guest bathroom has needed a towel rail since forever so I guess I am off to the hardware store in the morning, lol!
