I use Doterra essential oils all over the house for cleaning and I put the oils on a cotton ball and put in medicine cabinet or closet and I use lemongrass or lemon because the smell stays for a few days. Not only does it make the bathroom smell good but it has good health benifits too. You can them in other rooms too.

I once had purchaced toilet roll holder bar that was open in that it had strands in the center and had fragrance beads inside and I would replenish the beads with oil from time to time and it did work great. But after awhile it got too old to keep. Adding oil anywhere will do the trick, even spraying some on low watt night light will emit scent. So this could be a great way to do that!

I have always found lemon to be great essential oil for making a room smell great. Cleaning your bathroom is great till the scent goes away and most air fresheners are now harmful to the environment . If we could make this is into one of those balls that evaporate it will solve our problems.

I was wondering the same thing as the previous commenter. Unless the oils sort of soak into the cotton and flatten it. I think I will use the main idea of putting oil on cotton balls or swabs but stead stick them into my artificial flowers and plants around the house. Not only will it hide them but it will drive my friends crazy wondering if they are real flowers or they will be looking for the store bought scenter.

Now I think this is great idea for getting the scents in the bathroom, but how does the holder go back in tube with all that cotton? Maybe the instructions meant to stuff the tube that goes in between the toilet paper. I cant see how a stuffed tube will have room the the holder that goes in the middle.

This is an insanely easy way to make your bathroom smell fresh. Talk about a life hack!
