I am trying to stay away from air freshers and use natural things so this is a great idea for my. I use essential oils but this is another way to do it with these disks. I never knew that Baking soda and water could be baked to use this way. Are they strong enough to hang from a string? I would love to use some peppermint in my car or lavender. What a super idea. So easy to do. I will do some for gifts too.

This is a simple and fairly quick project that is very useful too. Baking soda is known for absorbing odors. There are so many different essential oils available on the market that you could have a nice variety of scents for your home. Has anyone tried these yet? How long do they last? Are they crumbly at all?
