Brillant idea to make a quick bed skirt without all that sewing. I keep looking at the fold up bed in my extra room and thinking I need something to make it look better instead of looking at the metal legs and this is a great idea. I did not want to do a lot of sewing to make one. It also uses a lot less fabric. Add some pop to the room by making it in a bold color or pattern.

Depending on your fabric choice and your desired look, you can opt for a continuous 'seamless' version. You may still need to sew a seam at each corner, but not necessarily to be open me overlap. I have had a beds,it with just the three sides all in one continuous run of fabric, and just gathered a bit at the corners, or it could even be tailored. It is key to wash and preshrink fabric first. Another option is to have a gathers skirt all around on large elastic which fits around the box spring and can be secured with a safety pin here and there. The elastic ar the head has no fabric of course. Just another way of doing it. Great instructions... Thanks for sharing! )
