Summer is here and plants are in full bloom. Bring some nature to your patio, or garden, with a DIY Trellis Planter. A trellis planter is an easy way to contain beautiful vine plants while also displaying them for all to see. This plant stand is great for sectioning off areas on a patio or garden, while still maintaining the natural feel of the space. This simple project is great for beginners; however, when you tell your friends and family you made it, they'll think you are a pro!

Do you live in a condo or an apartment or want something different for your plants on the patio. Well here you go how about a trellis built by you so you can get it the size you like for your space. This is a great way to grow those pretty vining plants you like or even some vining vegetables to keep them off the ground. I love it. I think I will paint mine a stain to give it that natural look. Anyone can make one and it will make a nice gift too.

I really like that this designer used flower pots / planters to achieve this effect. Living in a rental, I can still have this design element and take it with me when we vacate the property. Although we think of outside with trellis, this could be used inside on a smaller scale.

We have great neighbors but very little privacy. In the backyard, the apartment has no division between units. This would be a great way to have a little privacy and a way to spruce up the backyard at the same time. This would be great to work on now and make a debut in the spring of next year.

This is such a good and easy way to dress up your patio. I always see these around my neighborhood and they look so expensive. But, after reading this, I am totally going to make one. What a creative idea!

This trellis planter for the garden or patio is a super idea. I would imagine that you would need to secure it to the ground securely if you use it freestanding as a partition, but you could also use it on a wall. It looks great with the natural, wood color, but if you are up cycling, I could see painting this in a lovely pastel or a green tone to blend in with the plants!

I've been reading quite a bit about creating outdoor rooms in your landscaping and I think that's exactly what you've done and you've done it well!!! I really like the looks of these planter trellises and can see them used in quite a few applications. It doesn't hurt that I love plants and patios so turning it into a room is just great! It helps us create our own space. Framing the trellises also give them a very professional look. besides giving them a sturdiness to support the weight of the vines.

I'm not sure this saves me a ton of money, but I could make the trellis a custom size with this tutorial so it fits around my deck!
