I had some old metal retro chairs and sacked them because I thought they were beyond help! Darn, wish I would have seen this nifty idea! I like to see and have reupholstered chairs, so I might have made my own cushions from outdoor fabric, they have so many out there now and then coordinate it to the color you paint the chair frames. These chairs now seem to be in demand, and there are many estate sales in my area that have these very type of chairs! New life for well made furniture is always a good thing!

Thanks for the kick in the pants I need to get started on the two sad looking metal patio chairs on my back patio that were actually rescued from the curb on trash day. I need to pick out my color scheme and remove the seats on mine. They are actually stapled onto the sturdy plywood underneath. Then a spray painting I will go. I found a small table too so that will be project number two. I was going to sand off the rust and then prime but now I don't know if I will. This is looking all the better in my mind after seeing your pics. Thanks!

Found this suggestion at the ideal time was going to do something about the lawn furniture but didn't quite know what - simple fix according to the instructions. By this time tomorrow we will have new chairs. Thank you.
