If you live in a place where the climate is warm, you know the importance of keeping your car cool in the summer. This Cooling DIY Dashboard Cover will help keep your car airy and fresh, even when it's sweltering outside. Since the air conditioning is one of the first things to break in a car, it can be difficult to feel comfortable while driving in the warmer months. But don't spend all that money on a new air conditioner just yet. Simply make this DIY dashboard cover. The cover reflects the heat so when you turn on the air, it'll feel cooler in your car.

This idea would help a lot of drivers to cool down not just your dash boards but also your car.

This tutorial is great! I had actually never heard of a cooling dashboard cover before this. I have seen fabric like this at the store before and will be picking some up on my next trip. My car has a black interior and gets super hot in July/August. I'm eager to see if this will drop the temperature a bit in my car and make it a bit more bearable. This is a truly easy and affordable fix. A great tutorial for sure.

This is a super simple cooling cover dashboard and so fast to make. It does get very hot when the sun shines on the dashboard so I am going to give this a try. Cannot hurt to try it and if it works on the passenger side I will also give it a try on the drivers side. Anything to cool down the car and keep the dash from cracking too. Did anyone try to see if this works on the drivers side?
