What a wonderful idea. I am wondering what size mason jar is being used here. I know that mason jars are pretty sturdy but I am always fearful of giving children glass items.

This is a great stocking stuffer. Just today I saw a recipe for homemade clay that used Kool-Aid for color and smell. Could flavoring be added to give the snowmen a smell. (stuck on that kick now as snowmen do not need color). The mason jar decoration is cute too but I would like something in plastic to gift to a child.

I love how fun and festive this craft is for little ones. I wish I had seen something like this when my kids were small. I will have to save this one for the grandkids because I can see us getting a lot of miles out of a craft like this one.
